Morgann’s journey in Boston began when she moved here for college—and somehow, she never quite found a reason to leave. Steve, on the other hand, came to Boston after graduate school, inspired by exactly one thing: The Departed. Yes, you read that correctly. A movie about crime, mobsters, and Boston accents.
Their paths crossed six years ago on a dating app (modern love at its finest). For their first date, they decided to keep things cultural with a visit to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, where they wandered through the galleries and had the place almost entirely to themselves. Laughter and conversation flowed naturally, and by the end of the night, they had already lined up their next adventure.
The Story

Fast forward three apartments, two golden retrievers (shoutout to Waffles and Pancake), and five years of love later, Steve decided it was time to make things official. One cold February night, on the Boston Harbor, with the city lights twinkling all around them, Steve popped the question. Morgann, of course, said yes, and now they’re gearing up for the best part of the adventure—marriage.
They’re both over the moon to start this new chapter together, and they can’t wait to share their big day with all the amazing people who’ve supported them along the way. It’s going to be a celebration of love, laughter, and a whole lot of fun. After all, that’s what brought them here in the first place!

Are children welcome?
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
The wedding ceremony and reception attire is cocktail / garden party.
You are welcome to wear whatever cocktail attire you feel best in for the wedding celebration. If you are looking for more inspiration, we encourage guests to wear either floral patterns, solid softer colors, 0r fun, flowing fabrics - after all, we are celebrating in a garden!
Please note that, weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside and in the gardens. For guests wearing heels, please consider a block heel for comfort and safety.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have an excellent photographer to capture the memories and hope that you are able to stay present with us during such a big moment!
HOW DO I RSVP?
Guests can RSVP directly on our wedding website by following the link provided under the RSVP section. Please make sure to RSVP by August 3rd.
what if i have dietary restrictions?
There will be an opportunity to share any dietary restrictions with us when you RSVP. We will be sure to pass this information along to our caterer so that you are taken care of and can enjoy your meal!
is there a hotel room block?
Yes - please see the accommodations section of our wedding website for details on booking a room under our block. To ensure space, please make your reservation as soon as possible.
how do i get to and from the wedding venue?
There will be shuttles provided from the hotel to the wedding ceremony as well as from the wedding reception back to the hotel. Please see the itinerary section of our wedding website for more details. An official shuttle schedule will be provided to guests during the wedding weekend.
For guests who would prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking available at the venue.
If using a GPS to get to the venue, the address is 900 Washington Street in Wellesley, MA 02482. When you arrive on the property and drive over the historic bridge, you will see The Garden at Elm Bank Event signs directing you. You’ll want to drive past the soccer fields as well as lots A and B. At the stop sign, please turn left and enter The Garden at Elm Bank parking lot on the left. After parking, walk toward the gatehouse and main gates. You will be directed to the ceremony space which is about a 3-4 minute walk from the parking lot. We have a golf cart for anyone who might need assistance!
what time should i arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony starts promptly at 5:30pm. We ask that guests keep this in mind when planning their arrival times. Generally, guests will begin arriving at 5pm and will start settling for the ceremony around 5:15pm.
For guests planning to take the provided shuttles, pick up at the hotel entrance will be at 4:45pm.
